Sounds of the centuries soar in College of the Mainland’s Prelude to Europe Concert. The Duck and Cover A Cappella Group and Mainland Chorale will perform a Schubert Mass, an upbeat Latin melody and jazz-inspired pieces before they set off on a performance tour of Europe. Rounding out the concert is a choral showcase of West Side Story and selections from Rent.
A reception, silent auction and drawing for the Paris/London holiday for two raffle will follow the performance. Proceeds support the group’s upcoming tour, where they will perform American classics in the Czech Republic and Germany.
