Clutch Booking presents John Wiese, Richard Ramirez, Illicit Relationship, Plumbing and A Week of Kindness in performance

John Wiese is an artist and composer living in Los Angeles, Calif. He works primarily in recorded and performed sound with a focus on installation and multi-channel diffusions, as well as scoring for large ensembles. He has toured extensively throughout the world, covering the U.S., Scandinavia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. He is also a founding member of the concrète grindcore band Sissy Spacek.

Richard Ramirez is a local harsh noise artist creating his work since 1989. He has worked with such artists as Merzbow, Richard Rupenus (New Blockaders), MSBR, The Haters, Prurient, Kapotte Muziek, Astro, The Rita, Skin Crime, Smell & Quim, Con-Dom and Thurston Moore. He has toured the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan.

Illicit Relationship is a local experimental duo featuring Austin Caustic and Carol Sandin. Sandin is a former member of the experimental/noise project Rotten Piece. Caustic is a former member of the legendary experimental group Turmoil in the Toybox.

Plumbing is a project of Steve Jansen. Jansen is a part of the Houston art and experimental music scene.

A Week of Kindness ia an experimental/minimal/field recordings project of Sean E. Matzus. Matzus works with the bands/projects Black Leather Jesus, [Untitled], Red Hook, theNIGHTproduct, Tsalal and others. He also runs local experimental label Unlimited Drift.
