"Classical Minds" Guitar Concert featuring Valerie Hartzell and Andrew Smith

Valerie Hartzell is the creator and director of Classical Minds and is an internationally acclaimed recording and concert artist. Opening for her will be staff member Andrew Smith, who recently graduated from Southwestern University and will be attending Arizona State University as a master's degree student on full scholarship.

Classical Minds is a classical guitar festival and competition open to all ages and levels. All concert tickets and raffle ticket sales will benefit Classical Minds. The festival takes place June 10-15 at the Moores School of Music as part of the Texas Music Festival. Participants receive private lessons, master classes, workshops, lectures, technique classes, guitar orchestra, vendors and evening concerts.

The concert is held in the Organ Recital Hall in the Fine Arts Building.
