Houston Arboretum Class: Edible Wild Plants

The Texas landscape is filled with an abundance of wild edibles. Learn where to find, how to identify and proper preparation of the fruits, shoots, roots and salad greens growing all around. Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, sack lunch and bug repellent. A pen/pencil and a camera are also recommended. A plant guidesheet will be supplied.

The instructor for this course is Mark Vorderbruggen, a research chemist and one of the Houston area's most intrepid explorers.
