Clarke & Associates will host an opening reception exhibitions featuring Felipe Lopez and Lester Marks.
Lopez's "Ambiente Amore" solo exhibition offering a retrospective of work from this young artist over the past four years. "Ambiente Amore" examines our relationship with the ambiance of water and nature, and how the two collide into memorable landscapes.
Marks' "Capturing Dreams: Roticas, Spectrums and Personages" will offer viewers a unique perspective into the photo art of Marks. He creates compositions from assembling a variety of light sources uniquely his own, then subverts the camera settings to create shrouds of mystery. He is not using the camera to capture images but to create the look of abstract, stained, raw and pigmented canvasses of the Color Field artists.
Following the opening reception, the exhibits will be on display until August 24.
