Several of Houston's most beloved bands will grace a stage set-up at CityCentre's central plaza, hosting its first ever Music Fest. Sponsored by Westside Lexus, the festival will present music of a variety of genres and appropriate for the whole family.
3 p.m. - Zydeco Dots
Festive sounds of Southern Louisiana, complete with washboards and accordions
4:10 p.m. - Tropic Envoy
An ensemble specializing in the sounds of the Caribbean, including steel drums, bongos and timbales
5:30 p.m. - Yvonne Washington & The Mix
Top female vocalists in Texas, legendary Houston songstress Yvonne Washington and her talented band, The Mix, will take the stage to captivate the crowd with a blues and jazz-influenced set of Motown, R&B, and contemporary hits
6:50 p.m. - Sea Breeze
Led by saxophonist Carl Progue, Sea Breeze embraces contemporary, smooth, and traditional jazz idioms, captivating audiences of all ages
8:15 p.m. - Norma Zenteno Band
Salsa, Latin, and rock group Norma Zenteno infuses fire into any music set
10:00 p.m. - Little Joe Washington
Legendary Houston musician, Little Joe Washington caps off the CityCentre Music Festival with a trademark raw blues guitar sound.
