City ArtWorks, a non-profit visual arts education resource, is raising money to support its art enrichment programs through the 2016 Art of Conversation fundraising luncheon.
Funds raised at this event will ensure that children can continue to engage in hands-on art experiences, such as Art After School for elementary and middle school students and Art Smart for younger children.
This year City ArtWorks will honor Sybil Roos, a generous patron of the arts, an advocate for the underprivileged and a longtime supporter of City ArtWorks’ Therapeutic Art program at Texas Children’s Hospital. The event Co-Chairs are art patron and gallery owner Deborah Colton and newcomer to Houston's social and fundraising scene, Staci Henderson.
This year's luncheon will also feature 30 celebrity conversationalists who are each leaders in their respective fields and will offer thought-provoking discussions at each table.
