Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) launches a series of events to find homes for more animals waiting at the shelter. In addition, during June, July and August, CAP will compete as one of 50 finalists nationwide in the 2013 ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.
For these two days, CAP will offer fee-waived adoptions for all cats, kittens, dogs and puppies based on approval of the regular application process. Adoptions include vaccinations, de-worming, heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing, microchip, I.D. tag, obedience training coupon and free veterinarian health examination.
The family friendly event will offer lots of fun for kids, including face painting, crafts and a bounce house. Adults can participate in a silent auction and raffle. Refreshments will be available and CAP's volunteers will offer a variety of baked goods.
