For his latest feature, animator Bill Plympton has created a darkly comic tale of Angel, a misanthrope in a battle for his soul. Selfish, abusive, and morally bankrupt, he spends his days at a local bar harassing the other patrons. One day, Angel wakes up to find a pair of wings has grown on his back, and much to his dismay, these wings make him do good. The reluctant Angel is desperate to be rid of this burden, yet he finds himself in increasingly surreal situations, fighting those who want to use his wings for their own twisted purposes. Plympton will be on hand for the screening.
