This 50-mile Blue Knights police-escorted motorcycle ride begins at the St. Austin Center (2002 S. Wayside Dr.), and ends at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston (2002 Terminal Dr.). The 10th annual Nun Run schedule features registration and breakfast at the St. Austin Center with entertainment provided by Easy Money and flu shots available from CHRISTUS Healthy Living Mobile Clinics (9 a.m.), departure at 10:30 a.m. and arrival at Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston for lunch and awards celebration.

This year;s event benefits impoverished children who rely on CHRISTUS Foundation for HealthCare programs for healthcare.

Event participants receive breakfast, lunch, commemorative T-shirt and a lapel pin. Registration is limited to the first 300 participants. Sidecars receive free registration if willing to escort a nun to Galveston.
