Chaired by Ursaline Hamilton and Jordan Seff, the inaugural Knock Out Child Abuse benefiting The Children's Assessment Center is a spinoff of Black Tie Boxing, a professional charity boxing match hosted by Benjamin Berg and Lou Savarese. More than 20 amateur boxers, who work in the Houston energy industry as commodity traders, brokers and executives by day, have been recruited to fight in this charity event.
While the boxers contend in 10 three-round fights, guests will indulge in passed hors d’oeuvres, libations and a four-course seated dinner by B&B Butchers & Restaurant at reserved ringside seats and tables. Outside the ring, the fighters will also compete against each other to see who can raise the most funds for The CAC before the big match.
Proceeds from the ticket and table sales, sponsorships and donations will benefit the Houston-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide a professional, compassionate and coordinated approach to the treatment of sexually abused children and their families and to serve as an advocate for all children in our community.
