Featuring the cuisine of Houston's top restaurants, the Chicken Soup Cookoff puts chefs' skills to the test as they craft their version of the ultimate comfort food. Benefitting the Houston Food Bank and Congregation Emanu El, winners will be selected in the following categories: creative, international, traditional, showmanship and people's choice. Participating restaurants include Ambassdor Chinese, Auntie Pasto's, Benjy's, Branch Water Tavern, Buca di Beppo, C Fu Yang, Carmelo's, Catalan, Chef LJ Wiley, Chelsea Grill, Cleburne Cafeteria, Crappito's, Daily Review Café, Edloe Street Café, El Meson, Fadi's, Gugliani's, Houston City Club, Hungry's, Jenni's Noodle House, Kenny & Ziggy's Deli, Le Mistral, Mark's, Mockingbird Bistro, Napoli, New York Bagel Shop and Deli, Onion Creek Cafe, Pesce, Pico's, Prima Pasta, Ruggles, *17, Thai Siam, The Barbed Rose, The Big Mamou and The Downtown Club.
