If you are a Bordeaux fan, the name Château Pétrus will be no stranger to you. Along with Pétrus, the illustrious Moueix family owns several other "right bank" châteaux in Bordeaux as well as Dominus Estate in Napa Valley, in addition to acquisition of estates such as Chateau Trotanoy, Magdelaine, Hosanna and Bélair.
Philippe Restaurant + Lounge hosts Edouard Moueix of Chateau Petrus for a five-course dinner with wine pairings crafted by chef Manuel Pucha. The dishes include duck en croute pot pie with some of the first winter truffles, Texas quail with huckleberries and camargue rice from the South of France, and a Houston Dairymaids cheese course paired with a special wine from the Moueix cellar, the 1990 Magdelaine.
A Champagne Roederer reception with canapés will kick off the evening.
