Culture of Health - Advancing Together will present the CHAT for Change-Rise from Refuge Gala, an annual fundraising event to support Houston’s immigrant and refugee communities. The evening will include a keynote address from renowned “Tox Doc” Dr. Noreen Khan-Mayberry, the world’s first female Space Toxicologist, best-selling author and internationally acclaimed medical science expert. The celebration will feature Tanoura, an Egyptian folk-dance performance by Sal Maktoub and CHAT Academy students’ performance led by board member Shamsa Mangalji.
