The Austin-based Miró Quartet returns, following last year's enthusiastic audience response. Expect fire and passion from Haydn's String Quartet in D Minor, Op. 76, No. 2 and thrill to a jazz-inspired new work by famous American composer Gunther Schuller, his String Quartet No. 5. The Miró Quartet will bring its signature style to one of Schubert's most stirring masterpieces, the Quartet in D Minor, D. 810 "Death and the Maiden."
