The Emerson String Quartet, though retiring, offers a special performance in tribute to a beloved Houston audience and the friendships forged over the past five decades.
The program will include a new commission for the quartet by Sarah Kirkland Snider, Beethoven's Quartet in C-sharp minor, op. 131, and Mendelssohn's Octet in E-flat, op. 20.
