The Chabad Outreach and the City of Houston will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lighting the City Hall Menorah and Chanukah Fest.
The Chanukah Fest will offer attendees live entertainment including a rock concert by the California-based band 8th Day, a Judah the Maccabee live statue, hands-on booths, demonstrations, fire jugglers. and a dreidel mascot. Adults and children will have the chance to participate in array of additional activities with arts and crafts stations, Houston Rockets Fan Zone, rides, raffles and a dazzling food quarter all while raising funds for non-profit organizations in the Houston community. The menorah lighting ceremony will take place at 6 pm and will conclude with a fireworks display over City Hall.
