After suffering a life-threatening and career-stalling stroke, legendary bassist Chuck Rainey, whose skills can be heard in nearly 100,000 tracks, was making significant progress when his house burned down. This benefit has been organized by Artists with Repertoire (AWR) to help bridge the gaps caused by his financial losses and the emotional impact of the loss of five decades worth of cherished memorabilia.

Two great bands crossing jazz/rock/pop genres will offer tunes from Chuck Rainey's massive playlist. The event also features a silent auction.
