Two illustrated lectures offer a mini-course on the subject of fakes, forgeries and reproductions of decorative arts made or used in America. The morning lecture provides an overview of the subject by examining examples of ceramics, ironware, pewter, prints and silver. Following a break for lunch, the afternoon lecture features an in-depth study of furniture. Registration includes morning and afternoon talks, Q&A and a boxed lunch.
Presented by Charles F. Hummel, retired senior deputy director, Winterthur.
