The "Picturing Texas" exhibit will feature color and black and white photographs made in Texas. Kenny Braun is a native Texan who’s work focuses on landscape, lifestyle and nature scenes. Braun has published two books: Surf Texas focuses on the Texas surf culture and Gulf Coast. As Far As You Can See was published last year and is a collection of Texas nature scenes from every region of the state. Both books were published by the University of Texas Press. This exhibit will feature work that references the same style and subject matter as these two books.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until October 12.
