Catherine Couturier Gallery
Catherine Couturier Gallery, in conjunction with FotoFest 2014 Biennial, presents the work of an artist whom the gallery first discovered through FotoFest: Lori Vrba.
The exhibition consists of two series: Drunken Poet's Dream and her newest body of work, Assemblage. The artist describes Assemblage as an "organic extension and progression of my photography." Her imagery, which has a powerful narrative component, is sourced from her collection of curious oddities.
