Catastrophic Theatre presents Waiting for Godot

eventdetail

Beckett's most enduring work features Vladimir and Estragon, two hopeless tramps, waiting day after day for a mysterious someone who never arrives. While waiting, they while away the time with various attempts at entertainment to distract themselves from their common plight. At the end of each evening Godot's agent, a boy, arrives to inform them to Mr. Godot will not come tonight but will surely come tomorrow.

Premiered in a French production in 1953, for many the play serves as the definitive example of the Theatre of the Absurd. Catastrophic scored critical success with last year's production of Beckett's Endgame, and this Godot reunites that production's stars, Greg Dean and Troy Schulze, with director Nodler. Charlie Scott, Kyle Sturdivant, and Ty Doran round out the cast.

This play is for mature audiences.
