To celebrate Black History Month, Carya String Quartet will release a video performance of the Coleridge-Taylor's Fantasie-Stücke. Written in 1895, this set of Fantasy Pieces in the tradition of Schumann and Dvorak is a window into the beginnings of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s oeuvre, which combines Romantic, English, and African-American influences.
