Abstracting the Round is an invitational art exhibit that features locally connected artists showing how each artist explores the ways one can abstract roundness. Artists in the exhibition include Claire Ankenman, Virginia Baker, Carolyn C. Garcia, Jean Karotkin, Ken Mazzu, Pat McEnery, Maxine Mueller, Ellen Orseck, Patrick Michael Palmer, Arthur Turner, Mary Riggs Ramain, Antje Rietsch, Janis Ross and others.

The charitable beneficiary is Community Family Centers, an East Houston center serving basic needs to the under served on the East side of Houston.
