Houston Community College presents the artistic and cultural exploration of Carnaval as defined by the people of the Dominican Republic. The film was produced by HCC Central College’s Donna Pinnick and Rubén Durán. The work provide a glimpse into the diverse world of the annual celebration and explore the creativity, customs, history and music inspired by folklore traditions that found their beginnings five centuries ago.
