The exhibition includes new paintings by Dylan Roberts and Edgar Meza.
Meza works with ordinary materials to create paintings that are at once about restraint and improvisation. He takes cues from everyday occurrences such as seeing and feeling a sunset, waiting to fall asleep, and, most recently, the repetitive motions involved with working at a factory.
Roberts' paintings scream wildly at you. Grotesque and humorous images float atop psychedelic color schemes. His paint application and composition are improvised.
