Each year, the Cameroon Professional Society organizes conferences and workshops aimed at discussing possible solutions to problems affecting the livelihood of Cameroonians, as well as how to portray a positive image of Cameroon. The CPS Distinguished Annual Congress is the culmination of yearly activities, and it's the premier event that brings together leading Cameroonian professionals from all walks of life and throughout the world to propose these solutions.
Themed "Entrepreneurship - The Key to Wealth Creation & Economic Growth," this congress will be broken into four discussion streams, which include opportunities in the extractive industries and agriculture.
This event is open to all Cameroonian, African and any other professionals with vested interest in Cameroon.
The conference will be held in Keck Hall at Rice University. The gala on Aug. 2, 9 p.m., will be held at the Ayva Banquet Center located at 9371 Richmond Ave.
