This concert presents the music of Rice University professor and Musiqa founder Karim Al-Zand and features an eclectic mix of solo, chamber, choral and orchestral works. Al-Zand's music is eclectic often drawing inspiration from other art forms including 19th century graphic art, fables of the world, folksong and jazz.
