Join Houston CORE and LondonBRC for an afternoon of crawfish, art, henna tattoos, tarot card readings, sexy stilt walkers, awesome raffle items, shot block and more. Guests will enjoy crawfish, drink specials and treats. Proceeds from the event will support both groups in their quest to bring their respective projects to Burning Man's Playa this year.

London BRC Project's goal is to bring the iconic structures of London's House of Commons and Houses of Parliament across the pond as a fully functioning interactive art installation. London BRC is a nonprofit based in Houston with team members across the U.S. as well as Mexico, United Kingdom and British Columbia. The project has been a labor of love for the crew since its inception. One of the most important aspects to the team is being able to take the spirit of these buildings and infuse them with their own geographical backgrounds.

The Houston CORE Project is a giant cockroach sculpture protecting a supercomputer. This pregnant giant roach fosters a super computer displaying much of the interactivity people have come to expect from these machines. The cockroach embodies the memories of culture, fixed deep within the supercomputer, showcasing what humans do to the planet, to each other and what we could do — or could have done — to better prepare for the future.
