Printmakers from across the country will descend upon Houston during Burning Bones Press' 10th annual It Came From The Bayou!, a celebration of printmakers and printmaking
The weekend will kick-off on Friday with Tom Huck: The Devil Is In The Details book signing and artist talk at Burning Bones Press. Huck will discuss his work and his over 20-year printmaking career.
On Saturday, Mid Main Galleries (3550 Main Street) will host the It Came From The Bayou! poster show from 6-9 pm. This year's participating artists have created posters featuring their take on "It Came From The Bayou," and limited editions will be available for purchase during the show.
On Sunday, the 10th Annual "It Came From the Bayou!" printmakers showcase will invade Saint Arnold Brewing Company's upstairs Beer Hall (2000 Lyons Ave.) from 11 am-4 pm, offering work for sale by sought-after printmakers from across the U.S. Joining printmakers in the Beer Hall is the Zombie Zine Zone highlighting many popular zine creators.
