Local artist and DJ Stephanie Saint Sanchez will present a salute to '60s bubble gum music and the lovey dovey groovy feelings they inspire. This is a curated short film showcase with assorted local filmmakers doing their own take on love in the style of this genre. Each film will last from three to eight minutes. During the evening, there will be bubble gum blowing contests, crowning of the bubble gum king or queen, music and dancing.
Stephanie Saint Sanchez is a media artist, curator and instigator. Founder of La Chicana Laundry Pictures and The Texas based All Latina film festival, Senorita Cinema, Sanchez likes to make movies, play records and host awesome events. She believe,s above all, that love is a beautiful thing.
Doors open at 6 p.m.; show starts at 7 p.m.
