The Brilliant Lecture Series will commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II with a Conversation with Clifton Truman Daniel, grandson of President Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess; son of author Margaret Truman and former New York Times Managing Editor E. Clifton Daniel, Jr.

Daniel will share his unique perspective and insight into the life and personalities of President Truman and his wife Bess during the formative years of his political life; his life’s journey and the active role he is taking to promote reconciliation between the United States and Japan.

Ticket price includes a wine reception, a conversation with Daniel in a moderated Q&A format and an autographed copy of Dear Harry, Love Bess: Bess Truman’s Letters to Harry Truman, 1919-1943.
