This celebration and demonstration of Carnaval dance, costumes, music, drink and food occurs on the same day as Brazil's own Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro and Bahia. At the heart of the 2013 celebration is the Bacanas Brazilian Band, featuring top-notch musicians. Also featured is Morena Flor moving to batucada rhythms in feather and sequined costumes.
Guests are encouraged to attend in costume, with prizes awarded for best attire.
