Nationally renowned speaker Brené Brown will be the highlight of the 19th annual Hearts of Hope Luncheon. Brown, known for her groundbreaking work on vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame, has been featured on the Katie Couric show, PBS, NPR, CNN, and many other national media outlets. She will present a powerful process to help us rise from our falls, overcome our mistakes, and face hurt in a way that brings more wisdom and wholeheartedness into our lives, a subject she explores in her newest book, Rising Strong.

Bo’s Place will also honor outstanding community member, Peggy Roe, with the Robin Bush Award for her tireless dedication and volunteerism to support the children of Houston’s Community.
