Bo's Place and co-chairs Ashley and Sam Cruse and Mary and Carter Groves will host the Hearts of Hope luncheon. For over 30 years, Bo's Place has been the first call for grieving families, providing an Information and Referral Line, grief support groups and community education and training.

The Junior League of Houston, Inc. will receive the Robin Bush Award, given each year to those who have made a marked difference in the lives of children in the community. Since 1925, the Junior League of Houston has been committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

The special guest speaker is Emily Cave. At the age of 26, Emily suddenly became a widow before her first wedding anniversary. Her late husband was NHL player, Colby Cave. With his sudden and tragic death, Emily was thrown into the public eye for the worst possible reason: losing the love of her life. She is now slowly learning and rebuilding a new life all while honoring her late husband. She hopes to inspire and help others who are also grieving by being vulnerable and sharing her story with the world.
