Red Cat Jazz Café hosts a book launch event for Houston author Walker Smith's newest novel, Bluestone Rondo. Guests will enjoy cold drinks and hot jazz, free food and a live performance of scenes from the book by professional actors Marco Fuller and Gregor Haley, directed by Texas- based filmmaker Kimberly Suta.
A.J. McQueen, renowned poet, activist, author and Presidential Honoree, will perform one of the poems from Bluestone Rondo. Smith will read excerpts from the book, and be available to sign books immediately after a Q&A session.
