Taking place around Rice University, the 5K Brian O'Neill's Running Club's Fun Run for the Wounded Warrior Project invites runners and walkers to dress in camouflage or fatigues to honor soldiers and veterans. Runners and walkers are invited to bring books, movies, games and baked goods for a care package the club will send to soldiers currently serving a 12-month tour in Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division (AASLT) from Fort Campbell, KY. A raffle will be held at 7 p.m. for items from Brooks Running Shoe Company, Fleet Feet, Personal Training Sessions, Bud Light, ESPN Radio, lululemon athletica, SlimRitas, Testimonial Fitness, Chez Nous French Restaurant, W Exotic Car Rentals, The Tipsy Brush and others.
