Artist Abigail Mclaurin presents Golden as Drops of Grain, a collection of her latest work, at the BlueOrange Gallery. The Beaumont-based artist's paintings feature children and families from America's Golden Age — the 1940s, '50s and '60s. Her vibrantly colored panels evoke a sense of nostalgia, but there is often a darker subtext waiting to be unearthed by the viewer.
