The event will take place on the front lawn of the church where each of your pets can receive a personal blessing from Pastors Jim Flagg and Jim Love. Plus, professional photographer Nikky LaWell will provide a free commemorative photo of your pet to take home.

You can come and go during the two-hour event and visit with a number pet care professionals including veterinarian Garnett Von Eiff of Southwest Animal Clinic, dog trainer Melanie Lynn of Rover Oaks Pet Resort, Connie Richards and the Faithful Paws pet therapy group, Carol Rone of Southeastern Guide Dogs and the pet nutrition experts from Natural Pawz pet food stores. In addition, several pet adoption groups will bring some loveable canines that are looking for a forever home.

This traditional celebration honors St. Francis of Assisi, who was declared Patron Saint of the Ecology because of his special devotion to the animal kingdom.
