Market Square Park hosts "Blanket Bingo," a monthly entertainment series in which residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a night filled with music, fun and bingo.
Local DJs Joe Ross and Stewart Anderson will spin a mix of R&B, soul and Motown. Rounding out the entertainment will be master of ceremonies John Mills-McCoin from the acclaimed Rock 'N' Roll Circus at The Orange Show.
Fee includes a packet of bingo cards (approximately 10 games) along with chances to win a number of prizes donated by area businesses and partners, including a private pontoon boat ride down Buffalo Bayou for 21, a one-night staycation at Hotel Icon and $500 in cash. Bingo daubers also will be available for $1.
Proceeds from Blanket Bingo will help support Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
