Bistro Provence is hosting a very special evening of wine to show that the shocking move of gender equality that Madame Cliquot began by taking over her late husband’s vineyards in 1810, not only did not end with her, but flourishes today among France’s finest vineyards.
The five-course dinner, created by owner Genevieve Guy, will toast four of France’s greatest women winemakers in the business today – featuring their own wines in a pairing with the French Provence menu. The four Women of Wine to be featured are Domaine du Père Caboche’s Emilie Boisson; Domaine de Font-Sane’s Véronique Cunty; Château de Pibarnon’s Marie Laroze; and Domaine Voirin-Jumel’s Alice Voirin.
