Bistro Provence is hosting The Kings’ Wine Dinner, featuring five wines from vineyards where grapes were grown to grace the royal tables. The dinner, created by Bistro Provence owner Genevieve Guy, is divided by kings, beginning with Francois I and ending with the Sun King himself, Louis IV. In between are Henry IV, Louis XIII and Napoleon, each with a wine attributed to their reigns. The wines come from various regions in France where, while the actual wineries may have changed names or owners, the grapes have grown for centuries.
