Whitley's artwork takes him to lesser-trafficked areas and blurs legal lines as he strives to portray the dark beauty of forgotten spaces, harsher climates, and man's relentless impact on the environment.
He combines a traditional art background, stemming from childhood black and white film photography/development with his father, with an intense technical side (his split passion for programming and bringing modern design to application development).
