Political comedian and talk show host, Bill Maher, will bring his stand-up comedy tour to Houston.
For more than 20 years, Maher has entertained the masses with his political humor on th television screen, including Politically Incorrect and Real Time with Bill Maher, which has featured many high-profile guests. His combination of unflinching honesty and big laughs have earned him 38 Emmy nominations, as well as an Emmy win in 2014 for his role as executive producer of HBO series, “VICE.” In addition to his success on screen, Maher has also authored five bestsellers, including True Story, Does Anybody Have a Problem with That? Politically Incorrect’s Greatest Hits, When You Ride Alone, You Ride with Bin Laden, and New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer.
Beginning his stand-up career in 1979, Maher continues to perform in Las Vegas and other sold-out theatres across the country, as well stand-up specials for HBO, including Bill Maher: Live From DC, The Decider, I’m Swiss, and Bill Maher…But I’m Not Wrong, which have earned him additional Emmy nominations.
