"What Dreams May Come" is a group show/album experience curated by artist and Grammy-nominated producer RABIT and filmmaker Lane Stewart, co-founders of the Houston based electronic music label Halcyon Veil. The show features commissioned works from an international group of artists forming a unique experience allowing a musical expression to expand beyond the physical limits of sound.
This unique experience is a celebration of human connections made online and the sense of safety that transcends borders. With "What Dreams May Come," RABIT combines industrial, ambient, avant-garde and rap music in bold new ways. Visual language and representation of the "New South" are integral to his work. Each piece included centers around, and deeply embeds the viewer in a very personal and thematic process leading up to the forthcoming album.
Included in the exhibition are contributions by iconic British artist Linder, Berlin-based painter Elijah Burgher, videos by Lane Stewart and Actual Objects, and illustrations, sculpture and photography from Texas artists Wayne Bruce, Tony Krash and Junior Fernandez.
