Champion of the Year is an annual eight week fundraising competition organized by the Best Buddies Texas Advisory Board that features a select group of community leaders prominent in Houston and the surrounding areas. These philanthropic trailblazers compete to raise the most funds for Best Buddies Texas and earn the ultimate title of Champion of the Year.

The campaign will culminate at the inaugural "EveryBuddy is Beautiful Fashion Show" at the Ensemble Theatre, where candidates will model the latest styles in fashion. The candidate who raises the largest amount in donations will be recognized.
