Greenling will present four chefs with a basket of locally sourced bounty and the Brewery Incubator will present a variety of beers all brewed in house by the Incubator's League of Extraordinary Brewers. In two hours each chef will create a pairing course for the beer of their choice.
While dinner service does not begin until 7:30 p.m., guests are invited to arrive as early as 6 p.m. to observe the cooking process, interact with the chefs and brewers and enjoy a beer cocktail punch on the house.
At 8:30 p.m. the League Tap Room (formerly Cafe Luz space) will open up to all for late night bites from the chefs and sampling any of the beers for $15 per person. Seats at the Chef's Table for the full five-course dinner, including beers and cocktails, are available for $55 per person.
The League of Extraordinary Brewers have created special local produce inspired beers for the event, including a Sweet Potato Brown, Bell Pepper Ale, Wassail-Copter and Christmas PterodactAle. Happier Desserts, a Craft Beer Bakery & Creamery, will create beer desserts for all guests.
Funds raised from the event will go towards the Brewery Incubator Kickstarter Fund, an effort to raise $20,000 to build out a fully viable professional brewing system for Houston brewers in the world's first co-working brewery and collaborative brew pub.
