Every year, people around the globe celebrate France's highly anticipated release of Beaujolais Nouveau, the first release of the new wine.
Bistro Provence owner Genevieve Guy collaborates with French Country Wines to host the annual Beaujolais Nouveau dinner featuring the just-delivered new wine. Special guests for the evening will be Tim Smith and Phyllis Adatto, owners of French Country Wines. Jean Philippe Guy, sales manager, will lead the discussion of the wines being served.
Uncorking
Saucisson en brioche, sausage brioche.

Second course
Vol au vent de champignons sauvages, wild mushrooms in pastry shells.
Pairing: Beaujolais Blanc 2012, Jean-Paul Brun.
Third course
Parmentier de canard, duck confit over mashed potatoes.
Pairing: Jean-Paul Dubost, Moulin à Vent "Vin naturel" 2011.
Fourth course
Epaule d'agneau rôtie aux prunes, ratatouille, roasted lamb shoulder with prunes, served with ratatouille.
Pairing: Jean-Paul Dubost, Morgon "Vin naturel" 2011.
Dessert
Aumônière de poire pochées au Beaujolais nouveau, chocolat chaud, Beaujolais poached pear in puff pastry with hot chocolate sauce.
Pairing: Albert Bichot, Crémant de Bourgogne rosé.
