Baytown kicks off Independence Day weekend with a concert by rock band Blue Oyster Cult. The concert takes place Saturday in Bicentennial Park. The fun continues Sunday with CC Rider at 4 p.m., the Market Street parade at 5:30 p.m., Joe Nichols at 8 p.m., and finally, fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Along with shows, the festival includes booths with food, arts and crafts, and a children's amusement area.
