Bayou Land Conservancy presents its annual Land Lover Gala, “Wild About Conservation.” Benefitting Bayou Land Conservancy’s mission to preserve land along streams for flood control, clean water, and wildlife since 1996, the Land Lover Gala will bring together supporters across greater Houston. Each year, Bayou Land Conservancy gathers co-workers, clients, board members, friends and nature lovers to recognize the hard work of our partners and celebrate the positive community impact of land conservation.

The gala will honor a Conservation Champion, a Trailblazer, and others who have supported Bayou Land Conservancy's work. Through the gala, vital funds are raised to help protect iconic natural landscapes. With the support of individuals, foundations and corporations, BLC now protects more than 14,000 acres at 64 preserves in the Houston region.

This year’s keynote speaker is Suzanne Simpson, a Houston-based ecologist working to conserve the iconic natural landscapes of Texas. Guests may participate in a silent auction, a raffle, and a wine pull.
